What is a Fly and Drive?
A Fly & Drive includes roundtrip airfare on a major scheduled carrier, 7 days car rental with unlimited mileage & Value Added Taxes. This is a great way for the independent traveler to really explore the country at their own pace.

What is a Citybreak Package?
This package includes roundtrip airfare & 6 nights hotel stay. Want to getaway to explore a historic European city? Would you like to visit museums, art galleries, Parks or just enjoy the atmosphere at a sidewalk café? Then this is the package for you!!

What is an Independent Vacation Package??
This package includes roundtrip airfare, 3 nights Hotel & 7 day Car Rental for you to customize your holiday. Relax for three nights after your trans-atlantic flight, take in the best of the city then escape with your own car to view the picturesque countryside.

Do you only sell packages?
Yes, by packaging airfare, hotel and car rentals we are able to pass spectacular savings on to you.

Can I buy a package more than 14 days in advance?
Yes, we encourage advance reservations for the best availability of your desired travel dates.

How late can I buy a package?
Packages can be purchased 7 days prior to the date of travel. We require time to process your request, get confirmations and distribute the documents to you before you leave.

Are any meals included in my package?
Please review the inclusions of your package carefully. Breakfast is usually included, where specified in the package inclusions. This meal varies depending on the hotel but unless otherwise specified will consist of a continental breakfast. Additional charges for an American breakfast will be charged directly to you by the hotel.

We would encourage our customers to follow the instructions online to book a package and to refer to the FAQ section to answer many everyday questions. Should you need to contact europeASAP.com further, you can do so in the following ways:

Is there an additional charge for single travelers? Can I take a trip by myself?
Yes. Single travellers need not worry about taking a trip by themselves. However, they will incur an extra charge as our rates have been calculated on a twin basis.

Can I make a reservation any other way than on the Internet?
EuropeASAP focuses on booking reservations online. If you have been unsuccessful in trying to submit a request online, the reservation can be faxed to us. Simply complete the online booking form with all details (including credit card details) and fax to 415-752-2096. An email confirmation will be sent within 48 hours. Please note that europeASAP offers a secure environment for submitting credit card details via the Internet using SSL.

When is my reservation confirmed?
Confirmations of your request will be sent to your email (or fax) within 24 - 48 hours of it being processed.
Documentation
What documents will I receive?
This will depend on the kind of package you book. It may include, air tickets, train tickets, car and hotel vouchers.

When will my documents be sent?

Documents will be sent via Federal Express once all elements of your travel package have been confirmed. The following document delivery options are available:

  • Standard FedEx 2-Day Air ($10) for bookings departing from the U.S. 14 days or more from reservation date.
  • Late Booking FedEx Overnight ($35). Required for bookings 13 days or less prior to departure from the U.S.

Payment
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of booking.

Why do I have to provide a credit card at the time of reservation?
By submitting your credit card details you are guaranteeing payment for your requested travel plans. Requests can not be accepted without these details. The credit card is not charged until all services are confirmed.

Do I have to submit my credit card details over the internet?

You can also submit requests via fax. Please follow the reservation process and fill in all information including your credit card details. Instead of hitting the final submit button print it out and submit it by fax to 415-752-2096.

Please note that europeasap.com does offer a secure environment for submitting credit card details via Internet using SSL. No reservations will be processed without a credit card.


What forms of payment do you accept?
Major credit card such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and Discover.

Can I use a debit card to purchase a package?
No - we can only accept payment from the following major credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Diners, American Express and Discover.

Can I use someone else's credit card to pay for my trip?
No. The credit card must be in the name of the travelling passenger. Documents will only be sent to this person and a signature is required upon delivery.
Changes and Cancellations
What is your cancellation, refund or change policy?
Changes cannot be made after a request has been submitted. All sales are final and packages are Non-refundable.

Can I change my reservation once it's confirmed?

Once a reservation has been submitted and confirmed, NO changes are permitted, including but not limited to: changes to names (including spelling), flights, dates, hotels and/or number of passengers traveling.

Please ensure that you are 100% set on your itinerary and have verified all information prior to submitting a reservation.


Can I cancel my reservation once it has been submitted?

Once a reservation has been submitted and confirmed it is completely NON-REFUNDABLE, including but not limited to cancellation due to unforeseen illness or death of self or family members, changes in travel plans, flight delays; early check out of hotel or any unused portion of package booked.

Please ensure that you are 100% set on your plans prior to submitting a reservation. We realize that situations do come up unexpectedly that necessitate the cancellation of a trip. We provide trip cancellation insurance, which covers most eventualities. Please review the details of our insurance. We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance with your package. You cannot add insurance after a reservation is confirmed.

General Questions
When should I arrive at the airport and what should I expect with checking-in?

Airlines are requesting that passengers arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure to allow for efficient check in times.

You should have your airline tickets and passport with any visa requirements ready.


Do you sell EuropeASAP Gift Certificates?
No - we do not currently support Gift Certificates, but we intend to implement them soon.

Can we extend our stay and what is the cost?
Usually yes, for up to 30 days. This extension must be done at the time of reservation request. There is not usually a charge unless the package normally has "weekend surcharges" for air flights. Of course, if you wish to take additional car rental or hotels, this does cost extra!

Do you offer child discounts?
No. Our packages are based on double occupancy with the room or car cost divided by the two passengers. Families traveling with one child can be accommodated in a triple room. Families with two children will require two rooms.

What kind of room can I expect?

All of the accommodations we offer provide private bathroom facilities which include sink, toilet, tub and/or shower. Room types and sizes vary depending on the destination. In Europe room sizes are generally much smaller than American hotels. Single rooms are usually smaller in size than twins and doubles and have one small bed. Triples are usually a standard twin/double plus a roll away or sofa bed.

Here is a general guideline for bed types:

Double: 1 double bed that sleeps 2
Twin: 2 twin beds that sleep 1 in each
Single: 1 single or twin bed that sleeps 1
Triple: 3 twin beds that sleep 1 in each or 1 double that sleeps 2 and 1 roll away/sofa bed that sleeps 1

Queen and/or King beds are not offered in any category.

Upgrades to superior rooms, executive rooms or suites are not available unless specified under the description of the package.


Can I submit special requests with my hotel reservation?
Requests can be submitted but are not guaranteed. Rooms are assigned at the time of check in.

What airline will I fly on?
Our air inclusive packages feature air travel on major scheduled air carriers only. We do not sell charter flights. Arrangements will be confirmed with but not limited to one of the following carriers: United Airlines, British Midlands, Air New Zealand, Delta Airlines, Aer Lingus, SAS, Swiss Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic.

Can I upgrade my air ticket to business or first class?
Business and First Class fares may be available on certain routes. When submitting your request please advise in the comment box that you wish to request Business or First Class fares. Please note that the additional cost for these fares begin at $2,500.00 to $5,000.00 per person to the package prices. Frequent flyer miles and/or airline coupons CANNOT be used in conjunction with our airfares for the purpose of upgrades.

Will I receive frequent flyer miles from the airline?
Generally speaking airlines do not offer frequent flyer miles in conjunction with our discounted tickets. Once you have received your air tickets, you may inquire directly with the air carrier as to whether frequent flyer miles may be accrued. europeasap.com will Not assist in obtaining miles or credits from the air carrier.c.

Can I request advanced seat assignments?
EuropeASAP.com does not make advanced seat assignments on behalf of customers. Upon confirmation of your air request you may contact the airline directly to secure advance seat assignments.

What extras will I have to pay for?
Any items of a personal nature including but not limited to: phone calls, tips, laundry, beverages, meals not stated, taxi and bus fares, passport and visa fees etc.

Why should I purchase Travel Insurance?

Travel insurance will cover your travel costs if you have to cancel your travel plans for unforeseen circumstances. Because our packages are non refundable, non changeable we strongly suggest the purchase of travel insurance. Please refer to the travel insurance information within the reservation page for further detailed information.

Passport and Visa Services
What will I need to travel?

Passports should be current and open at least 6 months after your departure date. We are not responsible for visa requirements.

It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visa. For U.S. citizens, usually a valid passport only is required. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.


All prices listed are low season, per person, double occupancy, tax not included.
